Making your own vase is a great way to add a personal touch to your home décor. And, it’s easier than you might think!

Materials Needed:

– dollar tree vase – waverly white chalk paint – dollar tree faux leather

1.

Start by applying 2 or 3 coats of the white chalk paint.

2.

While that is drying, cut two 3 inch long and 3 inch wide strips of the faux leather.

3.

Fold one inch over the top and fold the remaining inch on top of that. Using the hot glue gun secure this together.

4.

Once the vase is completely dry using the hot glue gun add a dab of hot glue in the middle of the upper curved section of the pot.

5.

Place the faux leather on top. On the bottom section of the vase add some hot glue and fold the faux leather piece back so that it creates the curved handle piece.
