BaconWrapped Onion Rings are the appetizer every party needs! A super softand savory onion ring is covered with bacon, smothered with spicy bbqsauce and then baked until crispy and oh so delicious!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a baking pan and set aside.
Cut each bacon strip into 3 so you have thinner stripes. Set aside.
Separate the onion slices into rings keeping 2 layers per ring. Discard the smaller ones.
Tightly roll a bacon strip around the onion ring. Keep rolling more bacon until you have the whole ring covered. Repeat the process with the rest of the onion and bacon.
In a bowl combine BBQ sauce, hot sauce and brown sugar and smoother the bacon wrapped onion rings with it. Transfer to the prepared baking pan and take to the oven.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the bacon is golden and crispy.
