Gather all supplies. To create the watermelon, create a triangle with three jumbo craft sticks on your work surface, and secure at the corners with a glue gun and glue sticks.

Dry fit additional jumbo craft sticks along the length of the triangle and mark with a pencil.

Trim the ends of the jumbo craft sticks with scissors.

Attach the trimmed jumbo craft sticks to the back of the watermelon with a glue gun and glue sticks.

Basecoat the watermelon rind with light green acrylic craft paint and the watermelon fruit with dark pink acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.

Attach two wiggle eyes with a glue gun and glue sticks. Create cheeks by dipping a new pencil eraser into pink acrylic craft paint and stamping on both sides of the watermelon.

Draw a smile from cheek to cheek with a black marker.

To create the watermelon seeds, draw small tear drop shapes with a black marker all over the surface.
