Simple & Easy Chocolate Chips Brownies Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 F = 180 C.
Prepare the baking pan. Brush the pan with butter and line with a strip of parchment paper. Butter paper, and set pan aside.
In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt then set aside.
Place butter and chocolate in a large heat-proof bowl and melt in a bain marie.
Remove bowl and add sugar then mix until well combined.
Add eggs and mix.
Add the flour mixture and mix until moistened.
Add chocolate chips and gently stir.
Transfer batter to the prepared pan then smooth top with a knife.
Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached, 50 to 60 minutes.
Cool in pan for 30 minutes then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
On a cutting board, using a dampened serrated knife, cut into 16 squares. Store in an airtight container at room temperature, up to 2 days.
