How to customize baked spaghetti
When it comes to baked spaghetti, the sky’s the limit. Seriously, add in something, remove another thing and just play with the sauces and toppings as much as you want
- The traditional: This is the recipe I’m sharing. It’s a perfect traditional baked spaghetti version made with bolognese sauce and topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Totally amazing and oh so comforting.
- The creamy and cheesy: Swap the bolognese sauce for Alfredo sauce. Add some cream cheese or ricotta (or both!) when mixing the spaghetti with the sauce and top it with even more cheese. This is a super indulgent version that’s great as a side dish.
- The vegetarian: Load it up with veggies! Add some broccoli florets, chopped carrots, halved cherry tomatoes and some cauliflower.
- The fancy: Make your baked spaghetti with shrimp instead of bolognese. Add a splash of wine to the tomato sauce while cooking to amp up the flavors. Top it with melted butter, parmesan cheese and just a bit of blue cheese. Perfect for date nights!
See? There are honestly a million different ways you can customize baked spaghetti, that’s what makes it one of the best dinner recipes to learn! It’s just so versatile.
