I love making desserts like this Cinnamon Sugar Cookies Recipe! It’s super easy to make and comes together in literally no time, perfect for a busy person! These cookies make such a nice teatime treat but you can even dunk them in milk as a night time snack (oh, wait! is that just me?).

These cookies are so delicious they’ll quickly disappear from your table so make sure you hide some right after you pull them out of the oven. Just my 2 cents. If you crave a cinnamon dessert, like a cinnamon roll, these cookies are a great alternative, a little healthier too.

You can cut the cookies into different shapes but I really like the cute blossom shape. I love how the cinnamon scent spreads all around the house when baking this Cinnamon Sugar Cookies Recipe, it gives the house such a warm feeling. And I also love the cinnamon sugar on top, it not only looks cute but it gives these otherwise simple cookies a more elegant look.

Just printed the cinnamon sugar cookies recipe, sounds yummy. Why are recipes now given in oz and grams. What happened to cups measurements? Maybe if you are a professional baker you know about oz and grams, I have been baking for over 50 years and don’t find this convenient.

    1. Hi Margaret. I’m using oz and grams as this is how I got to learn cooking and baking. I’m no professional but my mom showed me the basics and they were using grams/oz. I wish I could be more familiar with measuring everything in cups, it does sound much easier.
