And I’ve got another awesome one for you! An easy and super simple sweet and sour popcorn lollipops recipe. All it takes for you to fall in love with these babies is a teeny tiny bite!

This fun recipe is guaranteed to satisfy your cravings, no matter what those are; sweet, salty or sour, there’s a little bit of heaven for everyone in each of these mouthwatering sweet and sour popcorn pops! Create your own tasty treats and don’t be selfish, enjoy them with your family!

Sweet and Sour Popcorn Lollipops Recipe:

Sweet and Sour Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • 12 cups salted popcorn, popped and smashed with a rolling pin
  • 2 cups Sour Punch candies of your choice, cut into small pieces (I used a mixture of the bites, punchies and the straws)

Sour Punch candies

  • 2 cups small white marshmallows
  • sprinkles to decorate
  • ice pops sticks or bamboo sticks

For the sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 10 oz. bag white marshmallows

Directions:

  • Place popcorn, candy and 2 cups of marshmallows in a large bowl and toss together.
  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in marshmallows and continue to stir until smooth.
  • Pour marshmallow mixture over popcorn mixture and mix with a wooden spoon to coat.
  • Grease your hands with a thin layer of cooking oil then shape popcorn mixture into balls and place on a piece of parchment or waxed paper.
  • Insert 1 stick into each ball.
  • Dip in sprinkles.
  • Enjoy your sweet and sour popcorn lollipops!
