Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a different type of cheese?

Absolutely! While Muenster cheese provides a rich and creamy profile, gouda or cheddar are excellent alternatives, adding their own unique flavors.

What type of apples work best for stuffing?

Firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp maintain their structure and provide a balanced sweetness.

How do I know when the chicken is fully cooked?

Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature of the stuffed chicken breast reaches 165°F for safe consumption.

Can this recipe be made ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the stuffed chicken a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Cook just before serving for the best results.

Storing and Reheating

To store, place any leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days. For reheating, use the air fryer at 350°F for about 5 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, you can reheat it in the oven or microwave if more convenient, but these methods might affect the crispness.
