What do you need to make these Dollar Tree Halloween crafts?
Using simple supplies from the Dollar Store, create these cute but spooky DIY Halloween decorations with the kiddos in just 30 minutes.
- Craft Sticks, Jumbo
- Wiggle Eyes
- Craft Foam, Black, Red, White
- Black Permanent Marker
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Acrylic Craft Paint – Purple, White, Ivory (spray paint would make the process a bit faster)
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Pencil
- CRAFT STICK DRACULA & SKULL PATTERNS available

Instructions to make this dollar store Halloween craft
STEP ONE
Gather all supplies. To create Dracula and the Skull, line up five jumbo craft sticks for each, on your work surface. Using scissors, trim additional jumbo craft sticks to the width of Dracula and the Skull and attach with a glue gun and glue sticks.
TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
Basecoat the craft stick Skull with a combination of white and ivory acrylic craft paint. Basecoat the craft stick Dracula with Purple acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
STEP TWO
Draw a circle around the top of the craft stick Skull. Carefully trim the outside left and outside right of the jumbo craft sticks with a pair of scissors. Then trim the circle with a pair of scissors.
STEP THREE
Print, and cut out the CRAFT STICK DRACULA & SKULL template. Trace the Skull eyes and nose onto black craft foam with a pencil. Cut out with scissors. Attach the features to the Skull with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Draw a rectangular grid with a permanent black marker for the Skull mouth. Round the bottom and top corners for the grid to create teeth.
STEP FOUR
Trace Dracula’s hair and cape onto black craft foam with a pencil. Trace Dracula’s teeth onto white craft foam. Then trace Dracula’s bow tie onto red craft foam. Cut out all patterns with scissors.
Attach two wiggle eyeballs, hair, cape, and bow tie to craft stick Dracula with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Draw two eyebrows and a curved mouth with a permanent black marker, and then attach two white craft foam teeth with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP FIVE
Paint one jumbo craft stick with purple acrylic craft paint. From the rounded ends, cut two sections that are 2” long each.
Attach at an angle to the right and left back of Dracula’s head to create ears with a glue gun and glue sticks.
