How to make the perfect bacon wrapped onion rings
Making bacon wrapped crispy onion rings is really easy once you have all the tips on hand. Also the first 2 or 3 are a little more complicated until you get in the swing of things so don’t worry if the first 2 don’t come out looking as nice as expected, it will get better!
1. Cut up the bacon: My best tip is cutting the bacon strip in 3. That way you end up with 3 bacon strips that are easier to roll around the onion ring.
2. Make sure the ends of the bacon go under the onion ring: The best way to keep it secure while baking so they hold their shape is to tuck the end of the bacon under the onion ring to keep it in its place without having to use a million toothpicks.
3. Use double onion rings: Slice the onion and when separating the rings just keep 2 layers together at a time. That makes them stronger and easier to manipulate.
4. Smoother with ALL the sauce: Seriously, add all the sauce your heart desires.
